History of Cornwall - 4th of July

This is a 2024 digitized restoration of the 16mm Dorfman family movies filmed by Dr. David L. Dorfman, who, with this wife, Mrs. Dolce Stern Dorfman, started Cornwall's annual Independence Day celebration in 1950.

It has been shared with the Town Historian for our archives and the enhancement of our mission by their daughter, Dr. Sally Faith Dorfman (aka Mrs. Steven G. Sirota), who retains all rights and ownership.

TOWN OF CORNWALL BOARD OF ETHICS NOTICE OF MEETING

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a meeting of the Board of Ethics of the Town of Cornwall will be held on Monday June 15, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Cornwall, Town Hall, 183 Main Street, Second Floor, Cornwall, New York.  The purpose of this meeting will be to review and consider any matters referred to the Board of Ethics pursuant to Town Code Chapter 20 and conduct any other lawful business of said Board.

            The Town of Cornwall will make every effort to assure that the hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities.  Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Town Clerk at 845-534-9100.
