    TOWN OF CORNWALL TOWN BOARD

    NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

     

     

                PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Cornwall will be held on Monday September 21, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at Cornwall, Town Hall, 183 Main Street, Cornwall, New York.  The purpose of this special meeting will be to: i) enter into executive session pursuant to Public Officers Law Section 105(1)(f) to interview candidates for the position of Town Chief of Police; and ii) introduce a Local Law modifying the residency requirements of the Town Chief of Police and setting a public hearing for said Local Law.  No other business of the Board will be conducted at said meeting and no public comment will be taken.

                The Town of Cornwall will make every effort to assure that the special meeting is accessible to persons with disabilities.  Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Town Clerk at 845-534-9100.
